The first reinforcements to reach the assembly point of Field Force Alexa were the proprietors of the Vine Valley Vineyard. This well-known and prosperous vineyard and winery is located in the appropriately named Vine Valley, just east of Elgadaburg in southwest Arkenland. When the owners of the place heard about the Bourouqueinyi invasion and the formation of the field force, they decided it was their civic duty especially since they were immigrants who had received a warm welcome in Arkenland to join the cause. They immediately left the establishment in the capable hands of their foreman and headed north.
Mohldrok and Pohpohn are members of a reptilian humanoid sub-race called the Bohradi, found almost exclusively in the central region of Dharmadu. Bohradi full names are a combination of given name, patronymic, matronymic and locative name. Mohldrok's is Mohldrok Soba-Mohldrok-op-Mala-ada-Gholsama, which translates as "Mohldrok, son of Mohldrok and Mala, born in Gholsama". Pohpohn's is Pohpohn Saba-Khalkas-op-Nalom-ada-Haskithar. You can figure that one out for yourself. The Bohradi are very gentle, hard-working people who are particularly good at farming and similar occupations. They seem to be naturally attuned to growing things. As you can see, male Bohradi are generally tall and quite heavily muscled; females are much shorter, but also muscular. These lifemates immigrated to Arkenland after visiting Vine Valley, an area in which over half the natural vegetation consisted of grape vines in several different varieties, some of which were particularly suited to winemaking. Mohldrok was a viticulturist (grape-grower) by trade and Pohpohn a vintner (wine-maker), and the two bought a large plot of land, quickly cleared away unwanted vegetation and built a small house and winery.
Ludien Sidler is a half-elven native of Sorminia (born to an elvish mother and standard father) and worked for several years for a wine merchant in Joville. In the course of her work, she met Mohldrok and Pohpohn and the three became friends. They all recognized that Ludien's knowledge of the wine trade would be a major asset to the winery, and she joined the Bohradi as a partner.
While the Bohradi aren't fighters by nature, they traditionally develop enough fighting skill to defend themselves and their property, and the long-handled clearing blades they use in their farm work called hookai sticks make excellent weapons. For her part, Ludien is quite handy with a rapier, a skill she picked up to ensure her safety as she traveled on business.
